Blue Goose Brand Vintage Arizona Orange Crate Label, Winter Sweet

This citrus crate label was used by American Fruit Growers Inc., headquartered in Los Angeles, California.  One of the larger produce marketers of the period, the oranges for this label would have been grown and packed by Consolidated Citrus Growers, Tempe, Arizona, inset of their label  on lower right.  Often you see large marketers use their brand with a small inset of the grower/packer.  This label was printed by Western Litho who sometimes put a small notation of the month the label was printed.  On lower left corner, 446, printed in June of 1946.
