Chickie Brand Vintage Asparagus Crate Label, black

This produce crate label was used by A. Levy & J. Zentner Co. headquartered in Sacramento, California.  Fun label with little chick.

• 9.25 x 9.75 inches in size, wider at bottom and tapers toward top.  Since asparagus is wider at the base, the crate is shaped the same to protect the asparagus from shifting in the crate.
• Printed in the 1930s.
• Near mint condition, light border wear on top right, border bump on bottom right.
